IMpact Adopted

Ohio IMpact at Risk!

Ohio massage therapists helped move IMpact forward. Now we need your help to keep it from moving backward.

In 2024, Ohio passed the official Interstate Massage Compact, taking an important step toward making multistate massage licensure and license portability a reality.

A last-minute amendment added to Senate Bill 276 will undo that progress by replacing Ohio’s current IMpact law with different language that no other state has passed. If signed, this will separate Ohio from the official compact framework and further delay the timeline for massage therapists to access multistate licensure.

That means more waiting. More uncertainty. More barriers for massage therapists who need the ability to work across state lines.

SB 276 is now on Governor DeWine’s desk.

Scroll down to send your letter urging Governor DeWine to veto SB 276 and protect Ohio’s participation in the official Interstate Massage Compact.

Your voice can help keep IMpact moving forward.
